Farmajo is misusing the army forces as he is trying to control with his iron fist any movement of the opposition in Mogadishu by increasing and deploying the forces that were trained in Turkey.
Recently, I asked myself some questions that are already on everyone's mind in Somalia: Is the training of foreign forces ineffective or is it for personal gain and not for the country's security?
It has become clear to me that Farmajo’s dictatorial regime is empowering the Somali people through forces trained abroad for national security and self-interest.
It is unfortunate that the forces are brought into Mogadishu every year and yet they cannot secure the capital, and it is clear that there are special interests such as controlling the opposition and suppressing the people.
