Somali Prime Minister reorganizes cabinet and names new ministers.
On Monday, Somali Prime Minister Hamsa Abdi Barre announced a cabinet reshuffle, introducing significant modifications to key ministerial roles through an official decree from his office.
One of the most notable changes saw Abdikhadir Mohamed Nuur relieved of his duties as Minister of Defense and reassigned as Minister of Ports and Sea Transport. In his place, Jibril Abdirashid Haji Abdi was appointed as the new Minister of Defense.
The reshuffle also extended to several other ministries, bringing new appointments and reassignments across various sectors:
