How can Barcelona sign players?

Barcelona

Barcelona in 2022 are a truly ridiculous entity. After years of financial mismanagement, a new era has dawned filled with new signings and potential outgoings.

July alone has seen Franck Kessie and Andreas Christensen join on free transfers, Raphinha sign for €60m from Leeds, Ousmane Dembele finally agree to a new contract and Robert Lewandowski arrive after a bitter exit from Bayern Munich. And we haven't even touched on the Frenkie de Jong soap opera yet.

So how are Barcelona financing their deals this summer as they look to return to the top of European football?

Why are Barcelona in debt?

Barcelona posted losses of £404m during the Covid-hit 2020/21 season, with the campaign played out without fans for the majority.

Paying the huge wage bill without any matchday income was part of the reason the club's gross debt rose to £1.2bn - blame has often been attributed to former president Josep Maria Bartomeu, who has maintained his innocence amid accusations of reckless spending. The former president dished out more than €1bn on transfers between 2014 and 2019, with very few turning out to be good deals.

When Joan Laporta was elected, he described the club as "clinically dead" and tough decisions were soon made. There was around €390m owed in player salaries and over €670m owed to banks.

Barça were unable to keep Lionel Messi due to La Liga salary cap regulations and fire sales were made during the 2021 summer, with Emerson Royal, Ilaix Moriba and Junior Firpo all fetching considerable fees.

Work was also done to get players on reduced salaries, with Gerard Pique and Sergio Busquets among those to sign on reduced terms.

Business decisions off the pitch have been taken to give Barça more breathing space. Restructuring allowed the likes of Ferran Torres, Adama Traore and Pierre-Emerick Aubameyang to sign during the January transfer window.

Laporta refinanced the club's debt with Goldman Sachs in a loan of more than €500m, while a shirt sponsorship and stadium naming rights deal worth over €280m was agreed with Spotify.

What are Barcelona's 'levers'?

Barcelona still need to hit budgetary targets, and to do this they are activating 'economic levers'. This means the club are taking action to alleviate the restrictions and pressure brought by the humungous debt. In practice, this means selling assets to bring in revenue.

In June, Barça sold 10% of their La Liga TV rights to global investment firm Sixth Street, generating a capital gain of €267m. They sold a further 15% to Sixth Street in July - these two moves were seen as the first two levers, as they have an impact on the club’s salary limit and new players can then be registered.

It is a risky strategy. The Catalan giants are essentially gambling their future and hoping short-term gains will prop them up. Should they start winning trophies again, that will be another valuable source of income, but they are still accumulating revenues this summer at the cost of losing sources of cash in the future.

A third lever could still be pulled. It would mean selling a 49% share of BLM, their merchandising branch, as well as NFT and metaverse opportunities, though Barcelona are reluctant to take this measure.

These levers are, of course, a one-time measure. Barça must perform on the pitch and show they are back on top form again.

How are Barcelona signing players?

So far this summer, deals for Kessie, Christensen, Raphinha and Lewandowski have been announced. Barça are also closing in on Sevilla defender Jules Kounde and hope to conclude deals for Chelsea duo Cesar Azpilicueta and Marcos Alonso soon.

However, the problem Barça face right now is meeting La Liga's financial fair play criteria. They are not currently in the limits and budget deficits will prevent new players from being able to officially join. The expectation is that players will be moved on for fresh faces, with Frenkie de Jong one such victim of the pressures of the transfer window.

The Dutchman has been heavily linked with Manchester United but remains intent on staying at Barça. Memphis Depay is another being pushed towards the exit door.

Neto, Samuel Umtiti, Oscar Mingueza, Riqui Puig and Martin Braithwaite were among those not to travel for Barça's pre-season tour of the United States and could all be sold this summer.

The first levers will allow Kessie and Christensen to be registered as Barça players, but more salaries will need to be offloaded before Raphinha and Lewandowski are signed up.

The Minister of Justice and his son were killed by al-Shabaab in an explosion in South West Somalia

Hasan Ibrahim Lugbuur

The Minister of Justice and Judiciary Affairs of South West Somalia, Hassan Ibrahim Hassan (Lugbur) was killed in an explosion after the prayer in the city of Baidoa.

The blast, which was the kind of burial ground that was directed from above, was aimed at the minister, and the damage was more than that, and the minister's son died at the same time.

At least 6 people were injured in the explosion that took place in front of a mosque called Mubashir which is located in the neighborhood where KGS officials live in Wadajir in Baidoa.

It is clear that Farmajo and Fahad Yassin want to create chaos and insecurity in the country by using Al-Shabaab, and the new government should judge those who have not been punished for their previous crimes.

On Wednesday of the week, al-Shabaab killed the governor of Marka district in Lower Shabelle region, Abdullahi Ali Ahmed Wafow, who was leaving the district headquarters in a suicide bombing.

The al-Qaeda-linked Al-shabab group seems to have doubled the security of the South West authorities, while they are also fighting fierce battles in the borders of the Bakool region, which the administration shares with the Ethiopian border.

"Al-Shabaab, since they are not under attack, anyone who leaves their home and attacks is an enemy that deserves to be fought together," said the Minister of Women's Affairs of the Federal Government, Hanifa Haabsay.

Pogba may have played his last game of 2022

Pogba

Juventus has been dealt a huge reality check, as it seems Paul Pogba’s injury is worse than they first feared. The midfielder is one of Juve’s big summer signings and he returned to the club after a spell at Manchester United.

The Red Devils wanted to keep him, but he opted to leave, and the Bianconeri thought it was a great opportunity to bring him back. The midfielder will now look to show he could do better than he did at United, but he has suffered a knee injury.

Initially, it was thought that he would be out for a maximum of two months, but it now seems the problem could be a bigger one. La Gazzetta dello Sport is reporting that the midfielder could take a route that will see him miss out on the World Cup.

As an older player, his best option might be to suture the lesion in his knee, but the report claims that means he could be out for up to five months.

Juve FC Says Pogba’s injury is a really sad development in an otherwise good summer so far.

It will probably force us back into the market to add a new midfielder to the group, and we hope he will not become the next injury-prone player in our squad after Aaron  Ramsey.

Aaron Ramsey: Juventus midfielder leaves Serie A club after contract cancelled

Ramsey

Aaron Ramsey has left Juventus after the Serie A club announced that the Wales midfielder's contract has been "mutually terminated".

Last week the 31-year-old was left out of Juventus' squad for their pre-season tour to the United States.

Ramsey joined the Italians on a free transfer in 2019, with the ex-Arsenal man reported to be on £400,000 a week.

But Ramsey spent the second half of the 2021-22 campaign on loan at Scottish side Rangers.

He was in the final year of his lucrative contract at Juventus but is now free to sign for another club as he seeks game time to prepare for Wales' World Cup campaign in Qatar next November.

Ramsey made just five appearances for Juventus last season and has been linked with a return to former club Cardiff City, but his wages are a likely issue for any side seeking to sign him.

Given he has suffered numerous injury problems over the past few seasons, that could also prove a stumbling block in any negotiations.

He was omitted from Juventus boss Massimiliano Allegri's pre-season travelling party along with Federico Chiesa, Mattia de Sciglio, Kaio Jorge, Arthur Melo, Marko Pjaca and Adrien Rabiot.

Ramsey was already without a squad number this season, having previously had the number eight shirt, and it was clear he was no longer a part of Allegri's plans.

The meaning of Fahad Yassin's statement is that he should distance himself from the relationship between him and Alshabab in order to escape from the crimes he committed.

Fahad yasin

The former director of Somalia's national intelligence and security agency, Fahad Yassin, released a message on July 23 that could be easily understood in its context, in which he spoke about the Al-Shabaab attack in parts of the Bakool region and Western Somali.

Fahad Yassin, in some parts of his writing, it is said that he knows the West Somali as a neighboring country of Ethiopia while Somalia does not accept anywhere that that land is Ethiopia.

Fahad Yassin called on the new government of Hassan Sheikh not to deal with the fact that Al-Shabaab has moved to a neighboring country. To show such a feeling now is to blame the security failure of the Somali government and to show Ethiopia that Hassan Sheikh's group they don't care to go to their side.

So while Fahad was NISA and while he was an advisor to Farmajo, Al-Shabaab crossed into Kenya several times, and he did not say that this is a big threat to the neighborhood and the stability of the region.

Al-Shabaab has also expanded to 70% of southern Somalia, when he was the head of intelligence, the purpose of his speech is to work in the conflict between Hassan Sheikh and Ethiopia.

Many times the former director of NISA, Fahad Yassin, has been accused of having good relations with Al-Shabaab, In his statement, he accused Al-Shabaab and their invasion, and he shows that he is far from that group in order to weaken the accusations linking him with Alshabab.

However, while Fahad was the director of NISA and before, it was said several times that he was an accomplice to the Al-Shabaab group, and earlier the former deputy director of NISA Abdalla Abdalla submitted to the armed forces court a case related to Fahad's connivance. belonging to the Al-Shabaab group.

Raphinha scores as Barcelona beat Real Madrid in Las Vegas

Raphinha

Last month Barcelona economic vice-president Eduard Romeu asserted he needed 500m euros to "save the club".

Now, six weeks later, the fallen Spanish giants are splashing cash in the transfer market. Big time.

Around £100m has been splurged on Leeds' Raphinha and Bayern Munich's Robert Lewandowski, and similarly big-money moves for Sevilla's Jules Kounde and Manchester City's Bernardo Silva are being pursued.

So, New signing Raphinha scored the only goal as Barcelona beat Real Madrid in Las Vegas on Saturday night, The Brazil international joined the La Liga giants from Leeds United in a deal worth up to £55m earlier this month.

He has now scored two goals in two pre-season games in the United States, His goal came in the 27th minute after he intercepted a wayward pass from Real's Eder Militao to secure the win in a match in which Robert Lewandowski  made his debut for Barca.

Real Madrid, who were without star striker Karim Benzema, failed to register a shot on target.

Will Barcelona president Joan Laporta's summer spending gamble pay off?

Aggrieved Bayern boss Julian Nagelsmann lamented that Barca are "the only club that doesn't have money but can buy any player," and his frustration summed up the mood of many observers who cannot understand how a club with debts of £1bn can spend so heavily.

But that perception is somewhat misguided, and the answer is simple. Here, we examine Barca's extraordinary financial summer, and explain why it's a massive all-or-nothing gamble for a club who find themselves in Las Vegas this weekend preparing to face Real Madrid on Saturday.

Laporta pulls the levers

On 16 June, Barca's members - who own the club - voted in favour of allowing president Joan Laporta to execute some exceptional measures, which have become known as economic 'levers', in order to raise a significant cash injection.

The first lever saw the club sell 10% of its domestic television rights over the next 25 years to US investment fund Sixth Street, in return for an immediate payment of around £200m - enough, in other words, to comfortably cover Barca's summer signings so far.

And on Friday the club announced that they had sold a further 15% of those rights to Sixth Street, bringing in a reported extra £300m.

There are further plans to sell 49.9% of the club's merchandising operation in the near future.

Together those levers should provide an up-front cash injection of more than £600m. So, yes, Barca now have money thanks to these new financial deals, even if they come with the long-term cost of reduced TV and merchandising revenue. And they also represent a massive gamble.

Lewandowski

Following the mess left behind by former president Josep Maria Bartomeu, perhaps the sensible approach to rebuilding Barca would have been a slow and steady reconstruction of the club's infrastructure, cutting costs and placing more reliance on an outstanding youth system.

But Laporta does not have the time or patience for that.

A charismatic populist with a penchant for grand gestures, he does not want to be remembered as "the man who helped revive Barca by laying solid foundations for future success". That might be sensible but it is also boring, and Laporta doesn't do boring.

Instead, he wants to go down in history as the heroic knight in shining armour who quickly restored past glories - for which he was also the part-architect during his first presidential stint between 2003 and 2010.

After a barren run of just one Spanish Cup title in three years, he is impatient for success. He wants to win major trophies, and he wants to win them now.

So Laporta has pulled his famous levers, raising enough cash to theoretically build a squad capable of winning silverware this season. In turn that could, also theoretically, lead to more revenue through increased prize money and TV rights (especially in the Champions League, which have not been sold), along with the other commercial opportunities that can derive from a world-beating team.

But the extent of the gamble cannot be underestimated. Right now, we do not know whether Raphinha will step up to the next level; whether Robert Lewandowski  (34 next month) can avoid age-related decline; whether Ousmane Dembele can avoid injury; whether teen stars Pedri, Gavi and Ansu Fati can continue their emergence; whether manager Xavi can sort out the defence.

Only time will tell, and the gamble is even bigger because it is a one-time-only deal. Conjuring a short-term cash injection by selling off the club's commercial assets is, surely, an unrepeatable trick. Laporta's levers cannot become an annual occurrence, so this summer's moves - both on and off the pitch - simply must pay off.

More movements ahead?

Notwithstanding Laporta's financial manoeuvrings, there is clearly also a need for Barca to become more effective in the transfer market than we have witnessed in recent years.

One immediate aspect of that process is offloading a host of unwanted players including Memphis Depay, Martin Braithwaite, Miralem Pjanic and Samuel Umtiti - a difficult task considering their high wages and, in some cases, lengthy contracts.

Then, of course, there is Frenkie de Jong. His case is different because, in an ideal world, Xavi would keep him. But the brilliance of Pedri and Gavi mean that De Jong is not a guaranteed starter, and he is therefore expendable if the price is right.

Crucially, that price includes not only the transfer fee but also finding an agreement over the wages deferred by the Dutchman in the last couple of years and now due to be paid.

That negotiation and De Jong's reluctance to join a club outside the Champions League are major stumbling blocks in completing his proposed move to Manchester United, which will probably also determine whether Barca can seriously pursue Silva.

So this intriguing summer contains more twists and turns, before the onset of a truly tumultuous season for the Catalan club. If the gamble comes off, Barca's decline will have been swiftly halted and Laporta will look like a genius; if it fails, the club's fall could become even steeper.

Al-Shabaab terrorists have crossed the Ethiopian border to establish positions in the mountains of Afdheer region.

Alshabaab

A fierce battle between the Al-Shabaab group and the Liyu Police force of the Somali Regional Government of Ethiopia took place in Yeed, Aato and Washaqo areas, all located in the Bakool Region, on the border between Somalia and Ethiopia.

Al-Shabaab also entered areas under Godgod District of Afdheer Regional Government on Wednesday afternoon, where they were in control for a short time.

It is not yet clear the losses resulting from these wars, since Al-Shabaab has cut off communication in the areas where they were fought so that no official information can be obtained about the border wars.

It is clear that Al-Shabaab attacks and violence in the borders are behind Farmajo and Fahad  Yasin who are working together to create political turmoil in the new government.

Also, Al-Shabaab wants to have positions in the mountains of Afdher region of the local government for the first time, after the President of Somalia Hassan Sheikh Mohamud and Prime Minister Hamse Abdi Barre announced that they will start a large-scale operation against the Al-Qaeda-linked group.

The Alshabab terrorist group is trying to create chaos on the border of Ethiopia to find a place to hide, after the armed forces have achieved success in their operations since President Hassan Sheikh Mohamud took power.

The government of Hassan Sheikh Mahmoud and Hamse has declared a serious war against Al-Shabaab

Hassan and Hamse

Al-Shabaab launched a serious attack on three towns near the border between Somalia and Ethiopia, The towns attacked by Al-Shabaab, namely, Yeed, Aato and Washaqo, belong to the Bakool region of the South West administration.

Also, the leader of Al-Shabaab, Ahmed Omar Abu Ubaydah, vowed to fight against the new government in a new recorded voice.

The terrorist organization, especially Al-Shabab, which has been committing terrorist acts in the country in recent years, is working under the orders of Farmajo and  Fahad Yasin, but they are taking revenge on the new government by disrupting security.

So, the Prime Minister of the federal government of Somalia, Mr. Hamza Abdi Barre, has announced a strong fight by the government against the Al-Shabaab and Daesh groups in the war.

The Prime Minister of Somalia, Hamza Abdi Barre, said that the government is committed to fight a strong all-out war against Al-Shabaab and Daesh, through military and non-military means.

He said that the aim is to maintain the achievements and to reopen major routes for supplies and humanitarian efforts to the people, business activities and free movement of people.

Somali President Hassan Sheikh Mohamud, who took office last May, has announced a new strategy to fight al-Shabab that has military, ideological and economic components.

The new government led by President Hassan Sheikh Mohamud is determined to fight against the Al-Shabaab terrorist group and cut off the economy as well as fight against their radical ideas.

Farmajo and Fahad are still organizing many crimes, so they must face the consequences of what they are doing.

Farmajo and fahad

A planned operation by the Somali government and Galmudug forces last night on the outskirts of the town of Aabudwaq in the north of Galgaduud region.

The operation, which was targeted, captured the soldier who killed the deputy commander of Galmudug Security, the late Farah Omar Geelle and his sister Haawo Omar Geelle, who were shot dead in that city.

It is evident that the killing of the NISA deputy commander in Galmudug was an operation organized by Farmajo and Fahad Yasin to stir up chaos in the country.

The security officials have promised that they will be brought to justice, so that action can be taken in accordance with the law. The arrest of this man was made after an order issued by the top leaders of Galmudug, who instructed the security agencies to arrest the culprit.

The shocking act that took place in Abudwaq has caused a lot of discussion and suspicion because in one place the deputy commander of NISA in Galmudug and his sister were killed.

Abudwaq is often the site of planned killings organized by Farmajo, some of which are carried out by tribal militias in the town and its surroundings.

Farmajo and Fahad Yassin are the reason why Al-Shabaab has taken control of most of Somalia.

Alshabab

The Al-Shabaab group currently controls 70% of southern and central Somalia and has expanded in recent years, with the support of Farmajo and Fahad Yassin, according to the Washington Post.

While the federal and regional governments control Mogadishu and regional capitals, Al-Shabaab and its fighters estimated at 5,000 to 7,000 control small villages and the countryside.

During Farmajo's tenure at the highest office in the country, which was the time when al-Shabaab gained the most power, instead of fighting Al-Shabaab, he preferred to concentrate his strength to fight against regional governments, opposition politicians and how he came to power, He was giving Al-Shabaab support to help them.

Al-Shabaab is the largest, richest and deadliest of the Al-Qaeda affiliates, responsible for the deaths of thousands of innocent Somalis.

A number of factors have combined to strengthen this group. One of them is the support given by the Farmajo Government through cooperation between them, the AMISOM forces who did not do nothing and the government of Somalia and its friends who do not have an effective strategy against this group.

The only hope of the Somali people is the President of Somalia, Hassan Sheikh Mohamud, who was elected two months ago and promised to defeat Al-Shabaab, saying that he will enter into a three-way war with Al-Shabaab.

Farmajo and Fahad are trying to restore the power of al-Shabaab.

Farmajo and Fahad yasin

In the city of Jowhar, the administrative center of Hirshabeelle, a strong explosion took place near a hotel called Nur Doob, where most of the Hirshabeelle leaders live.

The sound of the explosion which was heard in all the four neighborhoods of Jowhar city, resulted in a heavy loss of death and injuries, and the pictures and videos recorded show the destruction of this information.

The explosion was said to have been caused by a truck that was loaded with explosives, and took place at the Noor Doob hotel in the vicinity of the presidential palace, where ministers and members of parliament reside.

Among the injured are HirShabelle Minister of Women Aasho Khalifa, HirShabelle Health Minister Abdi Macalin, former Deputy Speaker of the HirShabelle Administration Parliament Mrs. Anab Ahmed Isse and former MP Jego, who were taken to the general hospital in Jowhar town in the Middle Shabelle region.

After  Farmajo and Fahad  lost control and won the election, they started using Alshabab to disrupt the security & chaos of the country, and yesterday they bombed Jowhar.

On the other hand, the Prime Minister of Somalia, Hamza Abdi Barre, spoke about the explosion and expressed his condolences to the people of Jowhar city, especially the people who suffered from the suicide bombing that happened in that city.

Robert Lewandowski: Barcelona reach agreement with Bayern Munich to sign Poland striker

Robert Lewandowski.

Barcelona have reached an "agreement in principle" with Bayern Munich to sign Poland striker Robert Lewandowski.

The 33-year-old, who has one year left on his Bayern contract, told the German champions last month that he wishes to leave, Lewandowski scored 50 goals in 46 games last season as he helped Bayern win a 10th straight Bundesliga title.

Barca say the deal is "dependent on the player passing a medical and contracts being signed".

"It's good to have clarity for all parties,"  said Bayern president Herbert Hainer,  who first announced the agreement on Saturday.

"We have come to a verbal agreement with Barcelona.

"Robert is an incredible player and he won everything with us. We are incredibly grateful to him."

Lewandowski confirms he wants to leave Bayern, Lewandowski joined Bayern on a free transfer from Borussia Dortmund in 2014 and has scored 344 times in 374 games for the club, making him their second-highest scorer of all time behind Gerd Muller.

The Pole has won the league in all eight of his seasons at Bayern and also helped the Bavarians win the Champions League in 2019-20.

Bayern have also announced that Germany winger Serge Gnabry, 27, has signed a contract extension until 2026.

Barcelona completed the signing of Raphinha from Leeds on Friday in a deal worth up to £55m having already signed Franck Kessie and Andreas Christensen on free transfers earlier this month.

Sir Mo Farah praised for discussing childhood trafficking trauma

Mo farah

Sir Mo Farah is an "inspiration to people across the country" after disclosing that he was trafficked into the UK as a child, No 10 has said.

His story was a "shocking reminder" of the horrors of trafficking, the prime minister's official spokesperson added.

Sir Mo told the BBC he was flown from Djibouti aged nine, given a false name and forced to look after another family's children.

Fellow Olympian Sir Brendan Foster said his story was like a "Hollywood movie".

Downing Street said work to clamp down on perpetrators must continue, while praise has come from a wide variety of figures across British public life.

Chancellor Nadhim Zahawi said he "salutes" Sir Mo Farah, describing the Olympic star as "truly inspirational" and an "amazing human".

Having fled Iraq when he was just 11-years-old himself, Mr Zahawi said it felt "painful" to learn of Sir Mo's experiences as a boy.

"I salute Mo Farah. What an amazing human being to go through that trauma in childhood, and to come through it and be such a great role model is truly inspirational," he told the BBC.

Sir Mo, who won four Olympic gold medals for Team GB, had previously said he came to the UK from Somalia with his parents as a refugee.

But in a documentary airing on Wednesday on the BBC, he reveals that his parents have never been to the UK - his father was killed by gunfire in Somalia, his mother and two brothers live on the family farm in the breakaway state of Somaliland.

Sir Mo reveals to the programme that his real name is in fact Hussein Abdi Kahin.

Mr Zahawi said he felt "lucky" to have had his parents with him when they were forced to flee from Saddam Hussein's regime in Iraq.

"I didn't understand why we were fleeing Saddam Hussein, I knew he was a dictator, I knew he was bad," he said.

Sir Brendan Foster said he was "absolutely staggered" by Sir Mo's disclosure.

"I thought I knew the Mo Farah story and I thought I knew Mo Farah really well," Sir Brendan told the BBC.

He described his story as a "Hollywood movie", adding that it was an "amazing, successful story of someone overcoming adversity."

He said it was "amazing" that the Olympian had emerged from his childhood experiences with a "light-hearted personality" and "steely determination".

Lisa Nandy, shadow secretary of state for levelling up, suggested that the decision to speak out about trafficking could be a "gamechanger".

London Mayor Sadiq Khan praised Sir Mo for highlighting the crime of child trafficking, adding: "We must build a future where these tragic events are never repeated".

Former anti-slavery commissioner Dame Sara Thornton said fear and manipulation stopped many victims of trafficking and slavery from speaking out.

"They will have been told that the authorities won't help them, they will be under the control of their traffickers and their abusers, they may have been physically or psychologically threatened," she told BBC's Today programme.

"Victims don't realise that in fact they are victims of a crime."

Comedian David Baddiel described Sir Mo as a "hero", sharing a picture of the pair, alongside fellow comedian Frank Skinner, in a tweet which read: "Whether he's Sir Mo Farah or Hussein Abdi Kahin he's a hero."

Gaarane reveals the people behind the harassment of NISA

Abshir Gaarane

Singer Abshir Garane Ahmed, who was jailed for a year and three months by the Somali National Intelligence Service (NISA) and said he had been severely tortured until he confessed to never joining al-Shabaab, has now revealed the man behind the ordeal.

Abshir Gaarane, who was jailed by the Farmajo government for a year and three months, has claimed responsibility for the abduction and torture of Kulane Jiis and Ibrahim Maalim under the command of Fahad Yassin.

He said that on the day of his arrest, until now had been told that his captives were reponsible Kulane Jiis and Ibrahim Maalim, then the commander of Jilicow Cave, and that Farmajo and Fahad Yassin had carried out the plot.

In 2020, NISA posted a video of Abshir Garane confessing to being a member of al-Shabaab for 13 years, but in this interview he described the persecution that led him to claim that he was not al-Shabaab.

Former President Farmajo, who is from the same clan as the artist, said he was aware of his case from beginning to end, and that his relatives had met him at least twice, but that he had not received justice from his government, That was the policy of the government against the opposition.

He called on all government officials led by President Hassan Sheikh Mohamud, including NISA President Mahad Salad, the mayor of Mogadishu and the parliament, to seek justice for Abshir gaarane.

Singer Abshir Garane was forced to declare Al-Shabaab by Farmajo's government

AbshirGarane

Singer Abshir Garane Ahmed, a victim of the Somali National Intelligence Service (NISA), gave the longest interview since his release in 2021.

In 2020, Abshir Garane was admitted on NISA's Twitter account, confessing to being a member of al-Shabaab for 13 years, but singer Abshir, a victim of Farmajo's government, was tortured and forced to confess to al-Alshabab.

Farmajo and Fahad Yassin have used the presidency as a prison for torturing their opponents, accusing them of being members of al-Shabaab, confess what they wanted from the tortured men who arrested Jilicow.

Farmajo & Fahad have committed many atrocities in the country such as imprisonment and torture of dissenting people, such as the artist Abshir Garane Ahmed and atrocities that led him to claim that he is Al-Shabaab.

He said he was now free, but had not received any compensation or justice from the previous government in his case, as he had been severely tortured, tarnished in public, wasted a lot of time and spent a long prison term.

In order for the public to receive justice, Farmajo and Fahad Yassin, who are accused of crimes against humanity, must be brought to justice.

Three years later and the sight of the missing soldiers

Hassan and soldiers

Somali President Hassan Sheikh Mohamud, accompanied by Eritrean President Afwerki, inspected the camp where the country's troops have been training for three years.

The first sighting of the soldiers, who have not been seen since 2019, was fraudulently carried to Eritrea, where they were initially scheduled to undergo training in Qatar.

MW Hassan has previously promised to work hard to bring the soldiers back to the country, and said before his re-election that he would be happy for the parents of the missing youth.

Former President Farmajo failed to repatriate the soldiers, and was not even able to share their official information with the public, prompting relatives of the youth to stage protests in the country.

Hassan Sheikh Mohamud, the president of Somalia's Transitional Federal Government (TFG), has on Saturday arrived in Eritrea for a two-day official visit.

Prior to taking office, Hassan had repeatedly expressed suspicion that Somali soldiers in Eritrea had been used in the Ethiopian war, citing international reports, including a United Nations report.

On May 23, 2022, Farmajo put the number of troops at 5,000, but earlier reports put the number at close to 7,000, so Farmajo and  Fahad yasin took responsibility for any deaths and should be held accountable.

Paul Pogba joins Juventus from Manchester United on free transfer

Pogba

The 29-year-old France midfielder won the Serie A title twice with the Italian giants before a then world-record £89m transfer to United in 2016, He flew to Turin on Friday for his medical before Monday's announcement.

Pogba last played for United on 19 April because of injury, and was a free agent this summer after he and the club failed to agree a new deal, The club confirmed at the start of June he would leave Old Trafford this summer.

In a video on Juventus' social media, Pogba said: "As you can see, I'm back and I'm very happy - I can't wait to start with you and win trophies with you. We'll be there on the pitch in the stadium, all together."

Juventus said: "When we say goodbye after an intense adventure shared together, there is always a glimmer of hope that we will see each other again, sooner or later.

"He left as a boy and returns as a man and a champion, but there is one thing that has not changed - the desire to write unforgettable pages of club history together once more. "Pogba is back and we couldn't be happier."

Pogba, who joined the United academy from Le Havre as a 16-year-old in 2009, helped the Red Devils win the EFL Cup and Europa League in his first season back at the club, but they would prove to be the only trophies he won in his second spell.

A disagreement with then United manager Jose Mourinho saw him lose the vice-captaincy in 2018, before injuries and patchy form reduced his impact. Pogba, who has 91 international caps, was influential as France won the World Cup in Russia in 2018.

He scored 16 goals for United in the 2018-19 campaign, but over the past three seasons found the net eight times in 91 appearances, with one from 27 last term.

Pogba scored 39 goals in 233 appearances across his two spells at the club, but his final home appearance against Norwich City in April saw him jeered by United supporters as he was substituted.

Juventus finished fourth in Serie A for the second successive season, trailing champions AC Milan by 16 points, They had been Italian champions for the preceding nine seasons, with Pogba playing a key role in their title wins from 2012-13 to 2015-16.

Fahad Yassin and Farmajo fund Al-Shabaab, which is part of Fahad, and provide them with millions of dollars and weapons to fight so that the government does not lose and control parts of the country so that Somalia does not stand on its own two feet.

Laftagareen

The South-West Administration formed Farmajo on December 18, 2018 in a rigged election and a military coup elected Laftagareen, and the popular uprising was extinguished with blood.

However, the administration in the South-West region of Abdiaziz Laftagareen, the people of the South-West described as "dictatorial", "not transparent", and used it to perpetuate widespread intimidation, repression, torture, and imprisonment.

Prison was reported that most inmates were paralyzed from torture and were confined to rooms without windows for ventilation. They have no official food and cannot be visited.

This week Laftagareen banned the South West from holding political meetings, Laftagareena's management plans to extend his term by a year and a half. It is noteworthy that members of the South-West Parliament have not been paid for six months, and the public is being subjected to widespread intimidation, repression, torture, and imprisonment.

In order to end the abuses, it is necessary for the South West elections to be held on time and in accordance with the law and not for the dictator to extend the term.

Farmajo, Fahad and Alshabab

The security forces in Somalia announced the seizure of a shipment of weapons smuggled from Yemen, and said that they were able to seize two boats loaded with weapons in Bandar Bella last Tuesday, smuggled from the areas of the Houthi group in northern Yemen loyal to Iran, to the Al-Shabab movement.

The two boats seized by the government were owned by Somali smugglers, who had previously smuggled weapons and explosives for use by Al Shabaab terrorists. It has been used in a number of terrorist attacks, including the largest attack in central Mogadishu on October 14, 2017, which killed and injured more than 500 people.

It is a fact that Fahad Yassin and Farmajo continue to support Al Shabaab, financially and militarily and want to use it to destabilize the new government.

Let Farmajo and Fahad  be prosecuted for all the crimes they committed, whether they were in power or selling weapons to Al Shabaab.

Farmajo and Fahad are using Al Shabaab to destabilize the country.

Farmajo and Alshabab

At least 5 soldiers were killed and others wounded when an explosive device exploded targeting African Union forces on the outskirts of Marka, the center of the Lower Shabelle region, in the state of South West.

The five soldiers who were killed on Saturday were from the Ugandan forces operating under the umbrella of the African Union Transitional Mission in Somalia (Atmis), and Al-Shabab, loyal to Al-Qaeda, claimed responsibility for the attack.

Farmajo and Fahad continue to work with Al Shabaab, which is opposed to the government, and they are trying to use it as an attempt to undermine the work of the Nation.

It is an attempt by Farmajo and Fahad Yassin to impose chaos on the country in retaliation for the government's defeat in the election, following widespread security measures by the  government .

When Farmajo and Fahad Yassin were not prosecuted for their crimes against humanity, do they still want to destabilize the country?
