The Speaker of the Federal Parliament of Somalia has appointed a committee to investigate the accounts of the last four years that have not been presented to the two Houses of Parliament.

Minister Bayle also faced tough questions about the country's financial system, which has come from members of both houses of parliament in recent days, The main issue facing the finance minister is the lack of accountability since 2018 and whether the minister is unsure whether international aid to Somalia is in debt.
Farmajo and his finance minister should be held accountable and prosecuted for lack of accountability since 2018 and misappropriation of public funds.
