Airstrikes in Galgadud and Middle Shabelle targeted al-Shabaab.

Somali federal government forces and international partners have jointly carried out operations against Al-Shabaab in areas of Galgaduud and central Shabelle regions.

The first operation took place in ali Hayle area of the central Shabelle region, while the second operation took place in Barag Sheikh Amir area of Galgad district in Galgaduud region.

The operations that took place in the area of Ali Hayle and Barag Sheikh Amir, which were bombing, were described as killing members of Al-shabab, and burning vehicles of the group, which were Abdi Bile and Boyad.

"The XDS Army Command confirmed that the Bombing of Ali Hayle burned a tanker truck and killed the militia guarding the truck. The second attack that took place last night in the area of Barag Sheikh Amir also targeted a Abdi Bila truck that was stationed in the area known as the vicinity of Jimaale Mohamud Daud," said a statement from the federal government.

According to the latest reports, there are still ongoing operations in these areas where the allied forces are still searching for the remains of Al-shabaab group in the areas that the forces bombed in the last few hours in the central Shabelle and Galgad.
