Washington promised Somali army forces that they will give them help.
The US Embassy in Mogadishu has confirmed that they will continue to support Somalia in its fight against terrorism, to ensure peace and security for the Somali people. The Washington government has promised to restore the power of the Somali forces fighting the Al-Shabaab movement.
They said earlier that their fighters are escaping from the attacks of the Federal Government and local forces. The American Embassy also indicated that it will support Somalia in order to have a wide and beneficial relationship with the world. The US military said on Wednesday it had killed 27 al-Shabaab militants in an airstrike in Hiran region in central Somalia, where the army and allied forces launched an offensive against the insurgents last month.
