The Ministry of Internal Security of the Galmudug administration has issued a press release about a Traditional Elder belonging to one of the clans living in the central regions who joined Al-Shabaab.
In the press release, it was said that these three elders are in charge of Al-Shabaab, while the Galmudug forces have been called upon to arrest them wherever they see them so that they can be brought before the law.
The Ministry of Internal Security of the administration indicated that it will treat anyone who contributes to the youth movement in the same way as it treats the militants based on the decisions made in the fight against terrorism.
The ministry has warned the people living in Galmudug areas not to obey the orders of Al-Shabaab, stressing the commitment of the regional government in cooperation with the federal government of Somalia to eliminate the fighters of Al-Shabaab.
