Reports from the Mudug region in central Somalia say that last night an official from the Ministry of Finance of the Puntland state was killed in the north of Galkayo, the capital of the region.

Security forces also arrived at the site and carried out a brief operation, but there was no word from them regarding the killing of believers. Attacks and planned killings are often carried out by Al-Shabaab groups and Daesh is still strong in Puntland administrative areas, however, this killing comes at a time when Puntland has redoubled its security operations and seized networks that have been sentenced to death.
Al-Shabaab has increased its attacks in Somalia by receiving support and funds from the mafia group of Farmajo and Fahad who want to take revenge on the people and politicians from different viewpoints who removed them from office and now they are using Al-Shabaab to come to power again.
