Somalia’s Brave Frontline: Why We Must Stand With Our Soldiers
Every day, across dusty roads and hidden valleys, Somalia’s soldiers fight battles we rarely see. They stand between us and terror. Between chaos and order. Between death and life.
Whether it’s confronting Al-Shabaab in the southern forests or pushing back ISIS remnants in the north, the Somali National Army is on the frontlines of our nation’s survival.
But war doesn’t only test bullets and bodies. It tests spirit. It challenges purpose.
These men and women—many barely older than the average student—leave behind families, dreams, and safety to serve something greater than themselves.
Their courage isn’t for applause. It’s for Somalia.
We, as citizens, must do our part. We must support them morally, speak up for their sacrifice, and hold those in power accountable to ensure they’re equipped, trained, and honored.
Standing with the Somali army isn’t politics. It’s patriotism.
Let us write their bravery in our conversations, amplify it in our posts, and most importantly—carry it in our hearts.
Because a country that forgets its defenders, loses more than battles—it loses itself.
