Lamine Yamal Shines as Barcelona and Inter Milan Draw 3-3 in Champions League Thriller
FC Barcelona and Inter Milan delivered a six-goal spectacle in the first leg of their UEFA Champions League semifinal, ending in a dramatic 3-3 draw at the Camp Nou.
Inter struck early, racing to a 2-0 lead within 21 minutes, thanks to goals from Marcus Thuram and a stunning overhead kick by Denzel Dumfries. But 16-year-old sensation Lamine Yamal sparked Barca’s comeback with a brilliant solo goal just minutes later. He nearly scored again soon after, hitting the woodwork as Barcelona piled on pressure.
Ferran Torres leveled the match before halftime, but both teams suffered key injuries—Barca's Jules Kounde and Inter’s Lautaro Martinez.
Dumfries gave Inter the lead again in the second half, only for an unfortunate own goal off goalkeeper Yann Sommer to bring Barcelona level once more. Inter had a late goal disallowed and missed another golden opportunity, while Yamal hit the woodwork again in the dying moments.
The tie remains wide open ahead of the return leg in Milan on May 6, with both sides showing signs they can go all the way—but Barcelona will be counting on Yamal’s magic once again.
