NISA Commander announces new leadership appointments.


Abdullahi Mohamed Ali Sanbaloolshe, director of the Somali National Security and Intelligence Agency (NISA), announced leadership changes in the Banadir region on Tuesday.

Sanbaloolshe removed Muhidin Warbac from his position as commander of the security agency in the Banadir region. He appointed Abdifatah Ibrahim Shaweye, a former NISA deputy, to the role.

Sanbaloolshe also reassigned Warbac as the security assistant of NISA and appointed Abdulkadir Hayow as the commander of Aden Adde International Airport in Mogadishu.

The leadership changes come as Sanbaloolshe begins his third term as NISA director.
