DF sheds new blood in Shabaab fight and heavy action it has taken.

The Federal Government of Somalia has sent troops to the Somali People's Liberation Army, who arrived in Galgaoud province today, and this seems to be the government shedding new blood in the fight against Al-Shabaab.

These forces are led by the commander of the 86th Battalion of the 77th Battalion two stars Abdi Nur Qadaye, and they first went to the town of Masagawa, one of the last areas liberated from Al-Shabaab militia.

The commander of the 85th organization, Abdi Wahab Ahmed Ma'alin, and a member of the leaders of the community also welcomed the troops.

The aim of these new troops deployed to Galgaoud region is to participate in the liberation operations that are taking place there, in order to remove Al-Shabaab.

A press release from the federal government stated that these forces are taking part in the fight against Al-Shabaab in the central regions.

"This force is part of the operations to eliminate terrorism in the country. The president of the 85th organization, Laba X/le Abdiwahab Ahmed Ma'alin, and a member of the leaders of the East Galgad region were welcomed in Masawagaa," the press release said.

It was also followed by "The officials went to the city after going to inspect and greet the soldiers of the various stations in the city."

In Galgaoud and Mudug regions, there are long-term operations in cooperation between the forces and the local forces, and they are facing Al-Shabaab.
