 The National Telecommunication Authority has directed the country's telecommunications companies to immediately implement the decision of the National Anti-Money Laundering and Combating Terrorist Financing Committee (NAMLC) which has sent the list of these decisions to the telecommunications companies. the committee that came out on the 14th of last month  It also informed that it is mandatory that their mobile money services (Mobile Money) have a license from the Central Bank of the Federal Republic of Somalia.

 on their networks and MVNOs to comply with the technical guidelines and restrictions of the central bank and the decisions of the NAMLC Executive Committee  The agency also instructed these companies to register the bones (SIMCards) of the customers by taking at least a photograph and fingerprints of the new customers and said that those who have already received SIM cards should be re-registered for a period not exceeding 90 days  In accordance with Article 5 of the Anti-Money Laundering and Terrorist Financing Act and Article 66 of the National Telecommunications Law, the agency added that the country's telecommunications companies must comply with all decisions of the National Anti-Money Laundering Commission. laundering and combating terrorist financing and working with various government agencies .

 The National Committee for Anti-Money Laundering and Combating Terrorist Financing issued serious decisions on the 14th of last month, warning Somali citizens to avoid any action that may help al-Shabaab, especially in relation to crimes of money laundering and terrorist financing  The commission then directed various companies operating in money services, insurance and foreign exchange to register within 30 days and legal action will be taken against anyone who is not registered.
