Heavy fighting between the forces of the country and the liberation forces and al-Shabaab is currently going on in Jalalaqsi district of Hiraan region.
In an area called Anji under Jalalaqsi District in Hiran region where the Shabaab fighters were gathering together, the army and the local liberation forces were said to have attacked the Alshabaab group who wanted to cross the Shabelle River to the other side.
The fighting is still going on and the preliminary reports we are getting say that the government forces have inflicted heavy losses on al-Shabaab as reported by the government media quoting army officers.
This war is coming as another war is going on in areas of Mudug region where the government forces and the re-election have attacked a group of al-Shabaab who were gathering in a secret place.
Galmudug military forces and Dervishes launched a multi-directional attack on a camp located south of the village of Qaida in Mudug region.
