The Somali state of Puntland said that it had seized 150 explosive devices that Al-Shabaab planned to use in launching attacks on areas in it and in neighboring Somaliland The police chief of Mudug district in Puntland Major General Mumin Abdi Sheri told the press that they had foiled two gangs responsible for the blast.
