Mogadishu is the most important city in Somalia so alshabaab started their explosions and threatened from it.
Reports from the Somali Presidency say that a series of operations have been launched at the residences of the national leaders after a security scare. All the offices of the Prime Minister of Somalia, Hamse Abdi Barre, have been investigated by the ATMIS army of the Ugandan government, while the President's side has been checked, using dogs that sniff explosives and weapons.
The Prime Minister has ordered a search of all the offices in the Government Palace after a series of security warnings when they came out yesterday. The workers were all suspended from entering the building early this morning on Monday, excluding all recording equipment such as laptops and mobile phones. Since last Friday, there has been a sense of fear that Al Shabaab is trying to attack government buildings, according to security sources.
On Friday, the Martyr's Mosque in the Somali Presidency was also ransacked as a security incident took place. President Hassan Sheikh has issued an order to ban the ID cards that can be used in Villa Somalia on the way forward, except for four offices that print IDs, namely: the offices of the President, the Prime Minister, the House of Representatives and the NISA command.
