Farmajo and James Swan plan to deploy foreign troops in Godo region.

The Jubbaland administration in southern Somalia has accused Farmajo of plotting to deploy foreign troops in the Gedo region.

The incident comes just three days after reports of a closed-door security meeting chaired by UN envoy to Somalia James Swan in the border town of Dolow between Abdullahi Kalune Jiis Farmajo and a high level delegation from Ethiopia led by General Tashuma Abilu.

It is said that the Ethiopian military intelligence met with Kulane Jiis, to devise a plan to disrupt the elections and the preparation of the Somali forces trained in Eritrea, the Liyo regional police and trained and organized clan militias in Baidoa, Somalia.

Earlier, Farmajo took desperate steps to manipulate the 16 Gdo MPs, using fear and foreign militias.

Allegations have been leveled against the United Nations and its envoy over the failure of democracy in Somalia, and the United Nations is believed to be fueling the conflict inside Somalia.

The UN Secretary-General spoke by telephone with outgoing Somali President Farmajo, discussing a range of issues including elections, security, drought and the new African Union Mission in Somalia (Atmis).

What did Farmajo do about these issues?
