Supporters of former President Farmajo have launched a scathing attack on Puntland President Said Abdullahi Deni, after he announced his candidacy for the presidency of Somalia.
Farmajo's group has targeted Saeed Deni personally on social media, posting hundreds of messages, obscene pictures and insulting texts, highlighting the seriousness of Deni's candidacy against Farmajo.
The attack on Puntland President Said Deni on social media is based on the fact that candidate Said Deni announced that his primary goal is to rid Somalia of Farmajo.
Lawmaker Abdishakur Ali Mire, a Farmajo supporter, said "Farmajo's defeat is the first goal of foreign governments, but candidates with a national vision should be given the opportunity to lead the country."
Responding, Ahmed Moalim Fiqi, a member of parliament, said: "If a man is suspected of being in charge of a foreign government, is that not Farmajo in a small Gulf state?"Responding, Ahmed Moalim Fiqi, a member of parliament, said: "If a man is suspected of being run by a foreign government, is it not Farmajo who is run by a small Gulf state?"
Farmajo's mafia has launched a major attack on Puntland President Said Abdullahi Deni's social media accounts, citing Farmajo's fear of losing the election.
Surprisingly, one of Farmajo's supporters criticizing Said Deni is that he has embezzled funds from Puntland lawmakers and senators, who have supported Farmajo's expropriation of government assets and troops.
