The Prime Minister, Hamza Abdi Berri, accompanied by the Minister of Defense, Abdelkader Mohamed Nour, and the Army Commander, General Ibrahim Sheikh Muhyiddin, visited the “Helwin” camp, where the military police responsible for controlling the security of the capital are stationed.

The “Helwin” base is located between Mogadishu and the city of Balad, in the Middle Shabelle region. The base was repaired in 2022 and made a headquarters for the military police.
