As announced, the BTS member went up on stage to deliver a live performance of "Dreamers," the official soundtrack for the event. In the video clip, Jungkook grabs attention in the middle of the stadium as he sings alongside a crowd of performers.

On November 20 at 2 p.m. KST, Jungkook released the new song “Dreamers,” his contribution to the soundtrack of this year’s World Cup in Qatar. Jungkook dropped the single just hours before the World Cup 2022 opening ceremony, where he will be performing the song for the first time together with Qatari singer Fahad Al-Kubaisi. A music video for “Dreamers” will also be released on November 22 through FIFA’s official YouTube channel.

“Proud to announce that Jungkook is part of the soundtrack for the 2022 FIFA World Cup Qatar and will perform at the World Cup Opening Ceremony. Stay tuned!”, the band shared on Twitter. Jungkook, at 25, is the youngest member of BTS. The artist has released several solo songs in recent years. Following the release of BTS's anthology album Proof in June, the singer shared the solo track “My You”. Earlier this year, he also teamed up with BTS's Suga for the ballad “Stay Alive”, which was featured on the official soundtrack of the webtoon 7FATES: CHAKHO.
