The United States has praised a new timetable issued by the Federal Electoral Commission, which stipulates the swearing-in of new members of both houses on April 14.

The FEIT committee schedule states that the 16th to 23rd of this month is scheduled to collect the documents of the members of the House of Representatives, and from the 24th to the 29th it is planned to verify those documents.

The US Embassy in Somalia has expressed optimism that the new timetable for the submission of the 11th members of parliament and their swearing-in will be implemented.

But Farmajo used South West and Galmudug to oppose the swearing-in decision in the election agreement so that the election would not be completed and he would remain in office as he had little hope of returning.

A statement from the US Embassy in support of the new timetable stated that they would meet with Somalia's new parliamentarians after the swearing-in ceremony.

The United States is one of the countries in the world that is closely monitoring Somalia's elections and the completion of the Parliamentary elections, which have been delayed several times.

According to the plan, the swearing-in ceremony of members of both houses of the 11th parliament will take place on April 14th.
