The United Nations has condemned and demanded an investigation into the killing of Amino Mohamed

James Swan

The United Nations says it strongly condemns the attack, which killed Amino and others, including soldiers, civilians and former parliamentarian Hassan Ali Abdi Dhuhul.

"The United Nations in Somalia condemns the suicide bombing that killed MP Amina Mohamed and others in Belet Weyne last night," the UN statement said.

The statement also sent condolences to the families of the victims, who number about 20.

The United Nations has said it is investigating the incident and called for a peaceful and secure election process.

Leading politicians have spoken about the death of MP Amino Mohamed Abdi in Beledweyne last night, They are united in the belief that Amino's assassination was orchestrated by Farmajo's group with the aim of postponing the election and intimidating the public.

It is clear that Al-Shabaab used this attack on Farmajo and Fahad Yassin, who are suspected of killing Ikhraan Tahlil and they believe they can bring justice to the blood and evil.

The motive behind the assassination of Amino was to silence anyone who advocates for justice and anyone who seeks justice.

Prime Minister Roble and his government must take action and hand over the security forces to terrorists and their collaborators. If they can't, please let people know and prove they can't
