Qatari Funding for Terrorism in Somalia ... Method and Objectives

The terrorist financing and support arms launched by the Qatari regime for years in the Horn of Africa have extended among their objectives to Somalia, which has been torn apart by civil war for years.

The terrorist groups funded by the Hamdeen organization came to supplement what remained of this impoverished African country.

The Qatari intervention contributed to fueling the conflict on several levels in that vital location, which directly affects the Middle East region.

Qatar's means of igniting and fueling the conflict in Somalia, which focused on the rule of its president, Muhammad Abdullah Farmajo, was to support Somali groups and warlords with amounts totaling more than 442 million US dollars, in the form of cash, weapons, equipment and gifts to these groups in exchange for granting the Qatari government the right to use the coasts Somali.
