This total disregard for constitutional law is no longer confined to the backrooms of the capital; it is being aggressively enforced across the federal member states. In pivotal regions like Galmudug, Hirshabelle, and the South West state, transparent democratic elections have been completely aborted by federal decree. In their place, the presidency has forced crude political appointments, forcing unvetted puppet candidates into regional leadership roles to guarantee absolute federal obedience.
